You will explore wine from its ancient roots and Medieval heritage to its challenged arrival in America to its first and second Golden Ages. You will learn about the three travesties that challenged the very existence of wine, rival beverages that contended (and won?) for primacy, and how technology and mother nature have each advanced and even saved wine over the ages. All in a fun and interactive atmosphere while tasting eight of Willowcroft’s great wines.
