Governor's Cup Medal Winners

Our 3-pack Virginia Governor's Cup 2025 Medal Winners! This pack contains our Gold Medal winning 2022 Petit Verdot along with our Silver Medal winners, the 2022 Chardonnay Reserve and 2021 Assemblage Select.

The 2022 Petit Verdot is a dry red with medium tannins, which has dusty mocha on the nose and notes of black stone fruit with hints of blueberry and vanilla. It is 85% Petit Verdot, 10% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. 

The 2022 Chardonnay Reserve is a dry white wine which was lightly oaked in neutral American, Hungarian, and French oak. This wine has a soft, rounded palate with hints of plantain. 

The 2021 Assemblage Select is a Bordeaux-style blend of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot aged in oak for 20 months. This smooth red wine is a dry, medium-bodied blend with medium tannins and a deep ruby color. It has hints of cocoa and plum on the nose, vanilla and plum on the mid palate, and a black current finish.
